2025 has been a huge year for Phoebe Rings, with tours across Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Australia, and New Zealand, plus festival spots at Mystic Love & Dub and Asian Pop Festival, and support for Japanese Breakfast and The Beths. Back home in Tāmaki Makaurau before their debut U.S. tour, they returned to the studio to record two covers. The first is Beach House’s “Astronaut,” reimagined with pedal steel, omnichord, and lush vocals, highlighting the shared dream-pop DNA and celestial themes connecting both bands.
